Texas Governor Rick Perry understands

I heard about Texas Governor Rick Perry recent statements concerning Texas House Concurrent Resolution 50. I am seriously thinking about moving to Texas, even if that means I have to live in my car until I find work and a place to live (unless someone wants to put me up for a while). Are there any other politicians who speak this plainly about the federal government's oppressive nature?
“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.”
Here's the video of the Gov. Perry's statement in support of HRC 50. There are politicians who understand this crisis. God Bless Texas.

Illegally crossing America's borders is not illegal activity

These are very strange days indeed. The President of the United States oversees the biggest expansion of federal government in history and declares, "Not because I believe in bigger government - I don't."And no one in the so-called Fourth Estate bats an eye. Now the law enforcement branch of the federal government all but declares that illegal entry into this sovereign nation does not count as illegal activity.

The video below drives home the point concerning why health care costs in America are spiraling out of control. The truly damning statements come in the recording final seconds.

Here's a partial transcript of that final exchange:

Representative: When you know that they’re illegal [when] they come to your hospital, do you report them to the federal authorities to come get them?

Carol Plato (sp?), Director Corporate Business Services at Martin Memorial Medical Center: We have tried and, uhm, we have been told, on numerous occasions, that they’re only interested if a crime has been committed, and from what I understand they’re not even interested then.

Rep.: The fact that they’re illegals is not enough crime?

C. P.: Correct.

Tighten your belt, unless you work for the Government

While all Americans are finding ways to trim budgets, save money and generally spend less, the Federal Government is going for the really Big Money.

$700 Billion for the Banking Industry, signed into law on October 3rd, 2008 as the "Troubled Asset Relief Program".
$17.4 Billion signed into law on December 19th, 2008 by Pres. Bush for the Auto Industry bailout.
$789 Billion in social program spending will be signed into law.

In less then 5 months the Federal Government has decided to spend over $1.5 Trillion. And it isn't as if these bureaucrats have this money stashed in an account somewhere. This is all deficit spending. In other words, they are going into debt ... no ... they are making the American people go into debt to pay for all this. And the People are told, by the Obama Propaganda Machine Main Stream Media, that it is for our own good.

In 2 or 3 months how do you think the Obama-Reid-Pelosi regime will start talking about taxes to pay for all this garbage?
