It isn't happening at a private company, which can set whatever stupid policy it wants. The folks who are losing their jobs work for the
State of Oregon. And these aren't just some mindless, paper-shuffling bureaucrat getting a pink slip for not speaking Spanish. The people finding themselves on unemployment are ... wait for it ...

Oh, did I mention that this was happening while the West is suffering from major wildfires?
Why not require all
